Hi everyone, thanks for visiting my journal!

This journal was made purely to deal with my photography - I decided to take part in my own 366 day photo challenge, where I set myself a target of uploading 1 photograph for every day of the year. I'm doing this in the hope that I step out of my familiarities, and try new things, as well as improving my images.

Anyway, about myself. My name is Kirsty, and I'm 22 years old. I haven't been into photography all that long, and have only just stared a home-learning course from this website: http://www.inst.org/photography-courses/index.htm

I live with my boyfriend of 3+ years in Dundee, and work part-time as a retail assistant. I studied 2 years of Web Design at university, before deciding to study photography. I use a Nikon D80 with 18-135mm kit lens, and a Sigma 105mm f2.8 DG macro lens. I also use Photoshop for editing, and a Wacom Intuos A4 tablet.

I try to be as nice as possible without lying or being two faced. I like to laugh as much as possible, and would describe my sense of humour as silly yet sarcastic. I try not to take the little things seriously, but they do get the better of me sometimes!
